All D&D players know this one, when the fight is basically over but the dregs of the fight on both sides keep missing and the fight will never end.

Yup. I think it's Labyrinth Lord(?) that uses an escalating Attack Bonus (+1 per round cumulative) to prevent this very thing.

I haven't learned new RPG rules in so long... That's why the rules here are sticking to OD&D. Really easy to remember and implement.

That looked like the zombies that my party took on last Friday night. None of the fighters could roll to hit anything, the mage with a crossbow clocked most of the kills.

By far this is the most enjoyable web comic that I have read in a very long time. I can feel the game being played, almost hear the dice rolling and the players shouting out their actions, just like in the old days. Great story, incredible art...Keep up the great work.
